50th Reunion

Hey Bearkats!

After much deliberation, your reunion committee has decided to move the date of our 50th Reunion from October 17-19, 2020 to March 19-21, 2021, due to the Covid19 pandemic. We believe that moving the date will give us more time to assess the situation both nationally and locally. We are preparing for our event with everyone?s safety in mind.

Sam's Town and Caravan (the band) are booked for the new dates.

Sam's Town will honor the $89/night room rate. If you have already made your room reservation for the October date, this will be cancelled by the hotel. We thought that the dates would roll over, but Sam's Town has requested that we call them to reserve the room for the new dates in 2021.

To make your reservation, call 1-844-748-2798, tell them you are reserving for the Bossier High School 50th Reunion and give them the code SHOBC to obtain the $89/night, March 19-21st, 2021.

The ticket price for the reunion is staying the same, as well. $125.00 per person. That price is effective now through February 15, 2021. After the 15th, the price increases to $150.00 per person.

We sincerely appreciate those of you who have already purchased your tickets and obviously they will transfer to the new date. We will post a list of those who have already paid, periodically, so everyone can see who is attending. We also greatly appreciate those few who have made extra contributions/donations above and beyond the cost of the tickets, as we do maintain a bereavement fund to honor our classmates who have passed away.

We have plans for an extraordinary event with food, entertainment, a great band and many extras. BUT in order to plan and provide a great value for the ticket price, we need to work from a BUDGET. We realize that March 2021 is a while away, but we are asking everyone who plans to attend or thinks they will attend, to purchase your tickets now. Our aim is to exceed our 40th Reunion experience.

In closing, please send in your monies for tickets and/or donations as soon as you can. Despite the obvious challenges that face us, your committee remains enthusiastic and pledges to work on your behalf to provide the best reunion ever.
